Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with One Tree Planted! If you have any concerns with your purchase, please refer to the following policy. This policy applies to all items from our shop collection, except any Tree Kits or cards (Custom Greeting Card, Tree Quote Card, Happy Holidays Tree Card). Tree Kits and cards of all varieties are final sale. The policy does not apply to any reforestation project donations or carbon offsets.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. In order to request to make a return, contact our team. If your item is returned without prior confirmation with One Tree Planted, you will not be provided with a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We require the item’s order confirmation and receipt to process a return.

Once a return is confirmed with our organization, we will provide instructions on how to proceed with the return, including to which address to send the item to. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Original shipping costs will not be refunded, and you will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs of returning your item.


Refunds will be provided for approved returns and items that were defective or damaged prior to you receiving them. If you received a defective or damaged item, contact us for assistance.

Please note that after processing a refund, it can take several days for a refund to be posted in your bank account. If we have confirmed that your refund has been processed and it has not been posted in your bank account after 7 calendar days, please contact your credit card company and/or bank. If they are unable to locate the refund, contact us.

One Tree Planted is not responsible for any currency exchange fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund.


The shipping carrier delivering your order will be determined by our fulfillment center to ensure that you receive the most expedient and cost-effective delivery.

If you are located outside of the United States, the shipping carrier will change to a local carrier once it enters your country. Items shipped outside of the United States may be subject to customs duties.

Shipping costs are non-refundable for exchanges and returns where items were received in acceptable condition. Shipping costs will be refunded items that were defective or damaged prior to you receiving them.

You must verify that the shipping address provided with an order is correct prior to placing the order. If an incorrect shipping address is provided, One Tree Planted is not responsible for replacing the order.

Shipping times will vary depending on location. Tree Kits ship from Texas or California, cards ship from California, and all other shop items ship from Texas.
